Checking the Status of Immunizations

Upon submission of both the dates a student received immunizations and the appropriate supporting documentation (see additional details for submitting this data) to Health Services, Health Services staff must review and verify the information before a student is considered compliant with New York State immunization guidelines. Students can check their compliance status using the Patient Portal. Follow these steps to check your current immunization status:

  1. Visit https://suhsportal.syr.edu and login in using your NetID and password.
  2. On the Welcome page, click on the Immunizations menu and select the View History menu item.
  3. In red towards the top of the resulting page, you will see an Overall Status. This status can have 4 possible values. The definitions along with screenshots for these are listed below.

No Data

You've got work to do! A status of "No Data" indicates that Health Services has received no immunization data from you. The immunization history page will look like this:

Not Compliant

You've made some progress but aren't done yet! If you have partially submitted immunizations but you are not compliant with immunization guidelines, you will see a status of "Not Compliant". This page will also list your missing requirements. The Immunization History screen would look something like this:

Compliant

Good job but check back with us! When you have submitted all of your documentation, you will see an overall status of "Compliant" but your individual immunizations are not yet verified by Health Services staff. Health Services will review and approve your dates and you should continue to monitor your status until it shows everything has been verified. The Immunization History page will look like this:

Verified

Great job! You should be all set. When you have submitted all of your documentation and it has been verified by Health Services staff, you will see an overall status of "Verified". The Immunization History page should look like this:
