Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, Tumblr. Social media has become a part of our daily lives and a huge influence at Syracuse University. As a department within one of the most influential Universities in social media, we wanted to get out there and find more ways to connect with the students here and the entire #OrangeNation. Here's just a few ways we're getting out there and how you can follow SUHS around the web.
With our biggest following, our Twitter account is a place to get important announcements about campus events, projects we're working on and even a place to ask questions. We're monitoring this account all the time and able to quickly respond to concerns or suggestions you have. Anything we gather from Twitter is brought up in regular meetings and the director of SUHS is even on Twitter, helping to share content and helpful articles. Be sure to follow us and join in on the conversation today!
Our longest running social outlet, out Facebook page is now livelier than ever. We interact with Syracuse University and other campus organizations to get you important information, educational articles and keep you update on where we are holding flu clinics, health days and more. If you're looking for free stuff, this is the place to find out about it. Managed by our health interns, you'll find this page updated daily with stuff that matters... for students, by students. Like us!
We're starting to get on our check-in game and have added a Foursquare presence to the mix. In addition to being able to check-in at SUHS, we'll be offering special promotions and helpful tips for locations around campus. We've also complied some great maps of area pharmacies, urgent care facilities and hospitals to help you out.
We're proud to be the first University health department on Google+. With a growing fanbase, we're still getting the hang of G+ and currently use it to share articles that we post on our other networks. In the near future, we'll be engaging more on the network and will host hangouts and more to bring health topics to you. Add us to your circles!
We're constantly updating our blog with important information and news from Syracuse University Health Services!
