Health Services will provide seasonal flu vaccine free to Syracuse and ESF students at a flu immunization clinic on Wednesday, November 9th from 11am to 2pm and Thursday, November 17th from 11am to 2pm at Health Services (use entrance near the ambulances). Get protected!
Additional clinics will be announced and posted on the Health Services Web site and Facebook page. Flu immunizations will continue to be available throughout the semester. Health Services has an adequate supply of vaccine to meet student needs for this year. No appointment is necesssary for the flu clincs, but all students must present a valid SUID.
The 2011-2012 vaccine contains the H1N1 strain, which is a Type A influenza virus. CDC information about seasonal flu is at http://www.cdc.gov/flu/keyfacts.htm.
